DAY 2.

RESCUE.

I am very sure that there was massive chaos in all corners of Hades that day. Our hero - the King of Kings- could not be held by death. We can imagine a few demons fleeing their posts and heading to the abode of their master to warn him.

I am sure he was shocked.

I am sure he was confused.

I am sure he was afraid.

The devil had lost.

The keys of death and Hades were being held now by the Son of God.

And even the imprisoned souls there were not left out of the redemption story.

And just like our King broke out of the jaws of sin and death, He breaks us out too.

He hasn't stopped seeking the freedom of any soul in chains.

He hasn’t stopped storming into lives being terrorized by darkness.

He hasn’t stopped destroying all demon fortresses built to keep us bound.

He leads us to die to our old, corrupt, damaged selves, and rise with new life.

Jesus reigns victorious over the power of sin and death!

And He wants us to too.
